When Steven Delaney Kendall inherited a treasure trove of old family films, he imagined: "What if my relatives tried to start a TV network like BET in the 1950s?"

Moving from imagination to reality, Steve proudly launched The Colored Program Network on October 1, 2019. The Colored Program Network is a parody site about a TV network set in the 1950s and is now available on YouTube.

Steven D. Kendall is the author of several books including Love Never Fails: A Matchmaker Mystery!, Colored Hospital: Stories Inspired by My BirthplaceGod's Glorious Christian Soldiers and New Jack Cinema: Hollywood’s African American Filmmakers.

Mr. Kendall is a former Assistant Professor who taught film, video and Internet related courses during his teaching career with The American University, Montgomery College and The University of Virginia.

Steve Kendall is also an experienced film and video writer/producer who produced and edited programs for corporate clients and several cable networks.

Steve retired from full-time teaching and producing due to a neuromuscular disease.

In retirement, Mr. Kendall enjoys dating his lovely wife and building his ministry site ThingsNotScene.com, paintin' and podcastin'.
